New APN Subsidized Housing Loans Announced Part 1
Minister of Spatial Planning, Construction and State Property Darko Horvat announced a new round of applications for subsidized housing loans, for which it is planned to spend HRK 50 million this year, with a public call for proposals from banks being announced in mid-February, and APN would receive citizens' requests from March 21.
“After all the necessary preparatory actions have been carried out, we expect that a public call to citizens could be opened in the first half of March. Given that the purpose of this Law is to stimulate demographic renewal of society, urban regeneration of settlements and reduction of the number of young families leaving, this call will be open until the planned funds for subsidizing are spent, which in 2022 amounts to HRK 50 million,” Horvat pointed out on Monday in a post on the Ministry's website.
The Ministry of Spatial Planning, Construction and State Property has also published a hodogram of activities related to the whole process, so the public call for proposals from interested credit institutions related to the level of interest rates, which is also the first step towards the launch of a new public call for citizens, should be published on February 16.
After the announcement of this public call, there is a period of eight days within which banks must submit their offer.
At the end of this period, the processing of the received offers begins and business cooperation agreements are concluded with the selected credit institutions, which should happen on March 4, when the list of selected banks and the amount of interest rates for housing loans offered to citizens will be published on the websites of the Ministry and APN.
