In 50 years of business, Ante Petrovic will remember only beautiful things, and now is the time, as he says, to enjoy retirement.

The iconic fish restaurant Golden Shells is for sale! Located in the old town center of Skradin a few steps to the coast and ACI's marina where magnificent yachts and boats of guests from all over the world are moored, it is recognizable for its charming red entrance and exposed fresh fish, Mediterranean decoration with stone walls and a bar in the shape of a wooden boat gajeta and, of course, seafood specialties in enjoyed by one of the richest men in the world, Bill Gates.

Proud owner Ante Petrovic, who decided it was time for a well-deserved retirement, has been building this success story since 1974. In these impressive 50 years of operation, this world-famous restaurant can boast that it has been in 100 leading restaurants in Croatia 13 times and that it has hosted, more than once, many famous and famous people.

In addition to Bill Gates, other names stand out, such as actress Eva Longoria with her then husband, basketball player Tony Parker, tennis player Roger Federer, actor Armando Assante and many others.

All of them are ambassadors who have conveyed to the world a good voice about Skradin, about the imposing Krka waterfalls and delicacies made under the baton of chef Ante Petrović.

Yes, well-known guests also came to us, but they were all correct, these are simple people, and we tried to provide them with a cozy, intimate atmosphere and anonymity, to feel comfortable and free, without other guests or media. Sometimes their insurance used to be a burden, or their food tasters, but it's an integral part of this business. Fifty years is a lot for a restaurant. I will remember only beautiful things, and since I am 67 years old it is time to sell it.

And my lady retired, now it's time to enjoy a little - she tells us Ante Petrović.

The restaurant with an area of 85 square meters of enclosed space consists of an entrance located a few steps from the coast, two separate rooms with 50 seats, a bar and a collection area, a closed kitchen, an outdoor kitchen, a warehouse, a sanitary facility, a terrace with 35 seats and a small business area next to the entrance.

The owners leave behind all the inventory estimated at 30,000 euros: equipped kitchen with professional appliances, refrigerators and ice boxes for fish, groceries, tables, chairs, top wines, beasts, napkins, glasses, plates, complete cooking equipment... The verified buyer, in agreement with the owners, is also offered the right to inspect the turnover (profit).

The restaurant is sold throughagency Euro-Interiorsfrom which they point out that this investment, due to the complete equipment of the restaurant itself and the established business, is ideal for the continuation of the business, and the expected return is less than ten years.

It is important for us to emphasize that not only real estate is sold; along with the property, the brand is sold and the entire inventory and business is left, all contacts, all suppliers and all the top wines that are in the restaurant - says Diana Perger, owner of the agency Euro-Interiors.

- We are ready to meet the customer as much as possible, offer him and pass on knowledge about our regular guests, leave them our fishermen and agencies with whom we have been cooperating for years... I hope that it will be someone who works successfully and whom this job satisfies - says Petrovic.
